MEET
ANTHONY ADEION HILL
Singing Evangelist, Anthony Adeion Hill has been blessed musically since childhood. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he is the son of Rev. Ronald Hill and Missionary Ruettene Bussey. He is the fifth of six children. His mother knew, even as a child, there was a special anointing on his life. She often tells the story of Anthony gathering the neighborhood kids together and having church on the playground and holding church in the living room with his brothers and sister using pots and pans while calling on the Name of Jesus.
Anthony knows, without a doubt, that God has a purpose for his life. In 1986, he died of a heart attack, God revealed his purpose was to lift his voice like a trumpet in Zion to please God and not man. God breathed life back into him that day and the Singing Evangelist has been spreading the gospel through song every since.
The Lord blessed this Man of God to record his debut CD, “ A Message To Jesus” LIVE, which could be heard on major play lists across the country.
After 22 years, in 2018, Anthony released a hot new single that is currently trending throughout the gospel music industry entitled “Hold On” This latest cut was birthed during a season of struggle in Anthony’s life. Having to deal with so many losses of loved ones, his mothers illnesses, as well as his own health scares Anthony could have used any excuse to let go, yet he had every reason to “Hold On” knowing God was able to Do It Again.
Anthony is a current member of Mount Calvary Word of Faith, Raleigh. NC where you can still find him leading Praise and Worship from time to time.
Anthony Adeion Hill can be heard on many recordings such as Dorothy Norwood’s CD and Video, “Catch On Fire” and “Hattie B’s Daughter" and has lended his vocals on several videos and recordings by Pastor Shirley Caesar such as” He’s Working It Out For You", “He Will Come", “Just A Word", “You Can Make It” and “ Shirley Caesar and Friends.”
The Singing Evangelist has performed on the NBC Today Show, Showtime at the Apollo (a three time winner), BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel Show, The Democratic National Convention, The 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, CBS “ Spiritual Awakening" Show, TBN and Atlanta Live & Verizon How Sweet The Sound Gospel Send A Hymn, just to name a few. He has performed in Off Broadway Productions and StagePlays such as “A Good Man Is Hard To Find", “Child Support", “Ain’t No Woman Like The One I Got", “Lord, Why Do I Keep Choosing The Wrong Man", “The Real Meaning of Christmas", “King of Glory” and “Coming Home”. Anthony has had the opportunities to work and share the stage with some icons in the Gospel and R&B industries such as Shirley Caesar, Patti Labelle, Hezekiah Walker, Dorinda Clark-Cole, TLC, Kirk Franklin, Jagged Edge, Tina Turner, Fred Hammond, 112, Yolanda Adams, Gladys Knight, Tye Tribett, Dorothy Norwood, Johnny Gill, Ludacris, Bobby Jones, along with TDJakes, Bishop Noel Jones, and a host of renown Christian Leaders.
